After close to 30 years of leading communications teams, being a strategic advisor to CEOs and senior leaders of large global brands, principal consultant Simon Townsend is expertly positioned to share insights and experience that help organizations harness the power of communications to achieve their goals.
Simon is passionate about how strategic communications supports purpose-driven business results, corporate storytelling, and employee culture. Simon has collected a unique mix of PR agency, small business, technology, non-profit and large financial services industry experience through progressively senior communications leadership roles at some of the world’s largest institutions. As a trusted and proven advisor, he has led global teams (from Toronto to Hong Kong), served multiple CEOs and executive committees and their organizations.
Throughout his career, Simon has served on a number of key executive committees including Sustainability, Sponsorship & Philanthropy, Employee Experience, and Diversity & Inclusion.
